Concept Store & Café
Commercial
Located in Baia Mare and spanning around 168 m², the project brings together two commercial functions — a café and a retail space — complemented by two outdoor terraces. Although spatially separated, the two functions are closely connected and work together as a cohesive whole.

The bar, and the listening bar above it.
The central element and focal point of the entire interior is the bar, crafted from metalwork and walnut wood. Above it, the coffered ceiling with integrated lighting evokes the atmosphere of a listening bar, the main idea from which the concept originated. The bar equipment — the espresso machine, grinders, and other metal elements — reinforces the industrial character and contributes to the visual composition, leaving part of the mechanics and rhythm of the café exposed.
Tables that move, chairs that differ.
The seating area is organized around square tables that can be easily reconfigured, joined together or separated depending on the needs of the moment. Four different types of chairs add variety and create a playful interaction between the furniture pieces, giving both customers and staff the freedom to adapt the space according to their preferences. At the centre of the café, a large freestanding table surrounded by eight wooden stool-style chairs becomes a natural gathering and socialising point.
Racks that come down from the ceiling.
In the retail area, two circular display zones occupy the centre of the space, while clothing racks descend from the ceiling along the walls, becoming integrated elements of the interior architecture. The space is completed by a dedicated vinyl record section and a fitting room.
Microcement, dark wood, glass brick.
The material palette is simple and cohesive, inspired by the image of an ideal listening bar: microcement flooring, dark-toned wood on the walls, glass bricks, coffered ceilings, and metal elements. The materials, furniture, and equipment are allowed to speak for themselves without excess, coming together to create a warm, urban, and subtly industrial atmosphere.

We wanted to create the kind of café you’d wish to have closer to home — a place you can step into for a coffee, stay for the music, the people, or simply for the atmosphere.
